Landscape Drawing, Painting and Writing Courses on the dramatic coast of North Cornwall, staying at The Old Parsonage, 5 Star B&B accommodation in a quiet, idyllic setting on the edge of Forrabury Common, close to the Celtic stitches and only 3 minutes from the S.W Coast Path.

You will be working with artist and author, Deborah King, a lecturer with many years experience teaching on B.A and Foundation Courses in art schools in London and Dorset.
THE BOSCASTLE SKETCHBOOK is an experimental Mixed Media Arts Course suitable for anyone, from absolute beginners to improving artists, wordsmiths or photographers, or those interested in natural history who simply want to experience landscape from a new and exciting perspective.

  Journey in the footsteps of Thomas Hardy along the wooded river valley of Valency.
Follow the river downstream as it winds its way through medieval harbour walls to meet the ocean.
Visit Forrabury church and explore the Celtic stitches, the dramatic cliffs of Willapark, Penally and Pentargon. Observe the tidal rhythms and weather patterns, the extremes of colour, effects of wind and wave on structure, shape and sound. Capture on paper a true sense of place.

March to May with full board accommodation. June to October without evening meal. Early booking essential in the summer season
