Journey in the footsteps of
Thomas Hardy along the wooded river valley of Valency. Follow the river downstream as it winds its way through medieval harbour walls to meet the ocean. Visit Forrabury church and explore the Celtic stitches, the dramatic cliffs of Willapark, Penally and Pentargon. Observe the tidal rhythms and weather patterns, the extremes of colour, effects of wind and wave on structure, shape and sound. Capture on paper a true sense of place. |
